Here is my project:

To start, I took a piece of watercolor paper and blended Blueprint Sketch and Salty Ocean Distress Inks into the background. After sprinkling drops of water on the ink, I patted the water off with a paper towel.

Next, I used the largest die from Fancy Frame Dies to die cut the panel.

When the ink was dry, I heat embossed the sentiment, Wishing you the merriest holiday season, from the stamp set, Tis The Season, using Hero Arts Embossing Powder in White. When I brushed off the anti-static powder from the panel, I used a white gel pen to draw snow on the background.

For the snow, I decided I would use two of the Stitched Scallop Dies because let's face it, die cut looks better than hand cut with scissors. :) One of my friends brought it to my attention that these dies have double piercing between the stitched lines. I love the look of it! And I can't believe I didn't see it before.

The critter I decided to use for this card comes from one of my favorite CDD stamp sets, Chilly. Isn't this bunny just darling? I stamped the bunny on Neenah Solar White 80 lb and lightly colored with various Copic markers. I colored a shadow and bunny prints with Copics and adhered the bunny to the Stitched Scalloped watercolor cardstock, finishing the bunny by adding white gel pen dots to him as well.

To finish off the card, I taped the two pieces of stitched scallops together, positioned the scalloped frame die over them and die cut them together. When they came out, they matched the scalloped panel. After I adhered everything to the card, I was finished!

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a beautiful day!
